FanKave Social Listening at the Cisco Store

FanKave is a social engagement and audience interaction platform that can be utilized in both the physical and digital world. At the Cisco Store, we partner very closely with FanKave to continuously find new ways to create meaningful experiences for our customers. And, of course, to have FUN! On today's episode of Tech Tuesday, Brian will walk the audience through our FanKave social media visualization display from the Cisco Store in San Jose, California.

With the help of FanKave, we are able to transform user generated content into an interactive, fun and meaningful experience for customers at the Connected Cisco Store. In store, there are a variety of different social media visualizations that we can display with FanKave. To begin, Brian will show off the "bubbles" visualization, which pulls from our social media accounts to feature recent posts in "bubble" form. We display this visualization prominently in the store as a way to get people interested in our social media presence, and ultimately incentivize them to engage with us on their own social accounts.
Next, Brian shows the audience our carousel visualization, that will scroll through recent posts in a "carousel" form. As Brian explains, FanKave uses a machine learning algorithm with an emphasis on natural learning processing, which means that it can intuitively filter out any inappropriate posts before displaying them on our screens. On the administrative side, we are able to see all the posts that are coming through, so if there were an issue in the store, or feedback for the team, we can reply directly and privately to that person.
In episode four of Tech Tuesday with the Cisco Store, we featured our social media engagement tool called the Smiirl. In this week's episode, Brian also provides our audience a glimpse into another way that we feature our Smiirl in the store. Using Fankave technology,we were able to imitate the Smiirl on our social media visualization dashboard, so we could further interact with our customers and get them excited to follow us on social media and interact with the follower counter.
