Where are you from?

I’m originally from Indianapolis, IN and currently live in Durham, NC.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work I’m a big sports fan! I’m a former soccer player and currently a youth soccer coach. I like to stay active, am very into fitness and also love photography!

I’m a Strategic Partner Marketing Manager for our Cloud and Technology partner portfolio. I work with a handful of our strategic partners and internal stakeholders to develop strategies and execute joint marketing plans with an emphasis on storytelling, thought leadership and, ultimately, demand generation.

What do you enjoy about working for Cisco?

There are so many things I enjoy about working for Cisco. There are so many great bonuses like Time to Give and the incredible fitness centers in SJ and RTP, but first and foremost is the people. I’ve met some incredible and supportive people that make coming to work every day fun. I’ve also been able to fully take advantage of the flexibility Cisco offers by being a digital nomad for the past two years, moving up and down the west coast while my wife was a traveling nurse. I get to look back and remember some of the unique work opportunities I’ve had and I also get a lot of satisfaction out of knowing that the work we do here at Cisco truly is changing the world.

What was your first experience with the Cisco Store?

My first Cisco Store experience was at Cisco Live US a few years ago. Between sessions I stopped by and was pleasantly surprised to find a legitimate store with some really cool merchandise, accessories and supplies. I think I expected more of a gift shop full of things that no one really wanted!

Why did you want to become a Cisco Store Brandbassador?

To be honest, there’s a lot of awesome merchandise in the Cisco Store, so I thought it was a unique opportunity to show my Cisco pride and test out some of the gear that I’ve had my eye on for a while! I also think it’s a new way to connect with my networks on social media and give some of my thoughts about what the Cisco Store has to offer.

What is your favorite Cisco Store product so far and why?

That’s a tough one. It’s a three-way tie between the Camper Insulated Mug, the Eco-insulated Quilted Jacket and the Cisco Nike hat! I use the mug every single day, I get compliments on the jacket every time I wear it and the hat fits perfectly for casual days and work outs.
